Attractions enhance communities by improving quality of life, attracting visitors, and shaping experiences that generate economic and social benefits.
Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFR) travel involves residents welcoming out-of-town guests, positioning residents as community ambassadors and participants in tourism activities.
Despite frequent visits to attractions, VFR travelers have received limited attention, leading to missed opportunities for attractions, destinations, and community development.
Therefore, this project sought to collect attractions’ perceptions and experiences with VFR to lay the foundations for further research and engagement.
