Architecture is uncertain. Without the certainty of absolute knowledge, the pursuit of an objective understanding of architecture is challenging. In its place lies a turbulent realm of subjective experience and scientific explanations that transform architecture into a description of itself. This thesis undertakes an exploration of the objectivity of architecture through Graham Harman's Object-oriented Ontology, Speculative Realism, and Weird Realism, resulting in the investigation of Weird Speculative Things that embrace the object-oriented world we live in and challenge it through speculation. This thesis explores the nature of architectural objects and their representation, aiming to influence architectural thinking through an intellectual, self-reflexive, recursive, and abstract investigation of modern philosophy.
