This project aims to create a strategy turn-based video game to help stress reduction. The major question is how psychological theory and stress reduction methods guide game designers to create turn-based video games that promote well-being. To achieve this, a literature review related to game design, stress reduction, and meditation is conducted. To demo the potential approach, a playable prototype which includes all essential concepts is delivered by the end of this project. The prototype can be played on computers running Mac OS system as well as registered iphones with iOS system. Further player testing of the prototype is needed.
