Cold formed profiled steel sheets are widely used for composite floor decking, where they remain permanently in place as an integral part of the floor system. Some benefits of composite deck flooring are economy, speed of construction, and reduced weight. This research consisted of experimental investigations on composite slabs under static and post-fatigue monotonic loading, as well as loading to failure after being subjected to fire at specified temperature and fire duration. The material and geometric variables are the five types of high performance concrete mixes, two types of profile sheet and the presence or absence of longitudinal reinforcement. The structural performance of the composite slabs are described based on load-displacement response, stiffness, energy absorption capacity, ductility, steel deck-concrete interface as well as post-fatigue and post-fire residual strength. The recommendations of this research will be useful for determining the best application for each concrete mix in composite slabs.
