Through this study I aim to analyze the current actions taken by provinces and territories in addressing the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). I used the CRPD consideration of report submitted by Canada regarding steps being taken to address the Convention. The study uses Critical Disability Studies, Disabled Childhood and Human Rights Approach as a theoretical framework. The analysis in the study followed the provision, participation and protection framework to interpret the data. Lastly, I suggest some implications regarding the importance of developing a federal plan.
