Intangible cultural heritage refers to the traditional culture that is passed down from generation to generation through oral transmission (Lee, 2020). ICH has a large national historical accumulation which can present the nation's religion and civilization. This study investigates the ways of using interactive digital experiences to help with promoting intangible cultural heritage. ICH has faced the challenge of losing its inheritor and a lack of audiences. The combination of new trends and traditional culture can create an innovative opportunity to let more people learn about those cultures. Due to my passion and interest, I chose Chinese tea culture as my main focus. The appearance of digital media platforms such as immersive media, interactive installations, and video can be a transformation of the communication medium. The project designs an interactive installation by listing seven types of tea in order to promote the tea culture. When the installation is triggered, the corresponding video will present the whole process of manufacturing tea. The Major Research Project analyses how interactive digital experiences can promote traditional culture by using interacting and visually appealing ways.
