Games have always been there, but sometimes, people may not realize that few might even try to communicate with them about a problem like a climate change that developers might be too afraid to speak publicly because of the fear of a backlash. This paper examines how different game developers incorporate social issues into their storylines and how they can create an impact on the human mind Getting inspiration from a few games like Call of Duty and Horizon Zero Dawn and using the secondary resources, I have developed my own game, Whispers from the Meadows on Figma. This text-based adventure game takes the players through its interactive storyline. It discusses the chaos caused by an organization known as Seductores, which is the primary reason behind the climate change in that Kingdom. Furthermore, it was also observed that graphics, in this case, matters a lot as it was one of the first things that kept the audience engaged throughout the game. Many people mentioned that merging two genres, in this case, text-based and adventure, was captivating. When told about how real-life events inspired the stories, nearly all respondents had no clue of the impact climate change is having on our world or what the experts are telling them for the future if they do not act on climate change quickly. Hence, the goal of this research is to create awareness about this imminent issue in such a way that the players do not feel overwhelmed by it and, instead, by playing this game, feel more motivated and willing to learn more about climate change and how they can battle with it.
