Exploring Social Influences on Female Alcohol Consumption

Through an examination of media marketing campaign, this study will explore the impact of social actors and the implicit and explicit messages that women receive from advertisements of alcohol. Guided by a feminist discourse analysis, this study will investigate the changing patterns of female alcohol use and examine the connections to changing societal ideology and gender norms within the Global North.
