The Criminalisation of Migration and Asylum: A Comparative Analysis of Policy Consequences and Human Rights Impact

The criminalisation of migration describes one of the ways in which state power is used to exclude non-citizens from social, legal and geographic spaces. The papers in this special issue survey the primary theoretical, normative, and doctrinal dilemmas involved in challenging crimmigration, at the local, national and international scales.
