An Exploration of Fecundity in Demographic Fertility Analysis

<p>The TFR is considered to be the single best measure of childbirth potential and thus population growth. There is another, more fundamental biological variable that affects the number of births per age cohort and this is fecundity. This article examines importance of fecundity in understanding birth potential and population forecasting.</p>
