[para. 2]: “Modern day technology has been integrated into areas of our lives we would never have imagined 10 years ago. Two such examples are: (a) smart clothing, which contains electronic devices seamlessly incorporated into fabric, which sense, interpret and adapt to a variety of situations; and (b) wearable technology, which integrates removable computing devices into clothing (Seymour, 2008). Medical, protective and performance sport apparel sectors were early technology adopters, utilizing interdisciplinary teams to research and design products.”
